Csempeszkopács

Csempeszkopács község Vas megyében, a Szombathelyi kistérségben. Csempeszháza és Kopács községek egyesítéséből keletkezett.Kopács Szent Mihály arkangyal tiszteletére szentelt 13. századi román stílusú temploma országos hírű műemlék, mesterséges dombon épült. A templomban ma is láthatók a feltáráskor előkerült középkori freskótöredékek. Berendezése a 18. században készült, oltárképét Dorfmeister István festette.

Csempeszkopács is a village in Vas County, Hungary.The most important architectural heritage of the village is the Árpád Age church. It was the church of the Kopács part of the village. It was dedicated to Saint Michael archangel. This 13th century romanesque style church stands on a little hill. Inside details of the medieval murals can be seen. Later the church was renewed in the barock style. The main altar's painting was painted by Dorfmeister.
In the Csempesz part of the village, there is a castle of late renaissance of Balog-family. elynek It has been built in the late 16th century, later renewed in barock style. It also contains the local history museum.

Szabadság-szobor (Budapest)

A Gellért-hegyi Szabadság-szobor Budapest egyik jelképe, felemelt kezében pálmafaágat tartó nő alak, Kisfaludi Strobl Zsigmond 1947-ben elkészült alkotása.
A Citadella délkeleti bástyájánál álló emlékmű jól látható a főváros jelentős részéből.

The Szabadság Szobor or Liberty Statue (sometimes Freedom Statue) in Budapest, Hungary, was first erected in 1947 in remembrance of the Soviet (then so called) liberation of Hungary from Nazi forces during World War II. Its location upon Gellért Hill makes it a prominent feature of Budapest's cityscape.

The existing 14 meter tall bronze statue stands atop a 26 meter pedestal and holds a palm leaf. Several smaller statues are also present around the base, but the original monument consisted of several more that have since been removed from the site and relocated to Statue Park. The monument was designed by Zsigmond Kisfaludi Stróbl.
